About the event

Weekend one of our Comprehensive Pilates Course.

Comprehensive Pilates Mat Teaching Certificate.

Beginners to Advanced, plus Small Equipment

This course will guide students with no previous health or fitness qualifications through the entire Contemporary Pilates Mat repertoire.

In this course students will learn to teach, progress and adapt Pilates Mat exercises for all levels of the general public - from complete beginners to advanced athletes.

The course consists of 8 days of classroom teaching plus an online Anatomy and Physiology course. This mixture of online and classroom learning is designed to fit around busy lives and to allow time for an understanding of how a Pilates repertoire can evolve uniquely for every client.

Prior learning and self-study Requirements

Although we do not require proficiency, we do need familiarity with Pilates Mat exercises. Therefore prior attendance of around 20 classes is required before participation.

20 self study/observation hours are also required for certification. These classes can be taken with a teacher or teachers of the students choice after course commencement.

Certification

This qualification is endorsed by IICT International Institute for Complementary Therapists, and currently allows successful candidates teach in 25 countries worldwide.

**Please note: The ITEC Anatomy and Physiology is a separate course and separate awarding body. Examination fees for this module are not included**
